Hrebienok – for a trip by cable car

Hrebienok (1285m) is one of the most attractive places in the High Tatras.

Starý Smokovec, where our accommodation is situated, is a starting point of many hiking trails.

Hrebienok can also be reached by cable car, which is a 2-minute walk from the apartment and experience the feeling like Queen Elizabeth of England when visiting the High Tatras.

The journey to Hrebienok takes about 60 minutes by foot and by cable car about 7 minutes.

Štrbské pleso

Štrbske pleso (1346 m) is the most famous and most visited Tatra lake. It is one of the most popular ski and tourist centres in the High Tatras.

Especially for skiing opportunities for all winter sports lovers. In addition to the ski slopes there are also prepared cross-country trails in the area, several kilometers long. Many tourists seeking opportunities for hiking and walking around the surrounding Tatra peaks.

Tatranska Lomnica – Tatrabob

It allows very safe rides throughout all year. The bobsled is secured into the track multiple times.

Staff will fasten your safety belt and you will be towed to the highest point of the track.

Bobsled is disconected from towing mechanism there and you can enjoy the ride. There are brakes mounted to the bobsled and you can easily control the speed.

As anywhere else, drive carefully and responsibly. Beautiful adrenaline moments at Tatrabob!

Belianska Cave

Belianska Cave is the only accessible cave in the High Tatras. It is one of the most visited caves in Slovakia.

In addition to bizarre rock shapes, it is known for the rich occurrence of calcite sinter fill.

Although interest in the natural sights of the cave has persisted for 125 years, the patterns of its creation have not yet been fully clarified.

Dobšinská Ice Cave

The Dobšinská Ice Cave is one of the most important ice caves in the world.

Since 2000 it has been included in the world natural heritage.

It lies on the territory of the National Nature Reserve Stratená in the National Park Slovak Paradise.

Spiš castle

Spiš Castle is a castle ruin that occupies the top of the travertine hill Spiš Castle Hill.

It dominates the wide surroundings on the main road linking the eastern regions of Spiš and Šariš.

It is not only proof of the development of architecture from the 12th to the 18th century in the Czech Republic, but its area, which exceeds 4 hectares (exactly 41 426 m²), is one of the largest castle complexes in Slovakia.

Betliar Castle

The manor house in Betliar is the only manor house in Slovakia, which after 1945 has been preserved with its original equipment and collections.

Betliar was indeed a luxury mansion built to represent its owners.
